The"Richardsonian"
Bluette Meloney
$600.00

This charming small shop is inspired by structures designed in the U.S. by Henry Hobson Richardson from the mid to late 1800s. Richardson's work was greatly influenced by the Romanesque

architecture of medieval France. The structure was designed and built by the Guys from Texas for Bluette Meloney. It is 16-1/4" tall by 11-1/2" wide and 7-1/4" deep.

The exterior will be finished with muted faux yellow brick, grey marble, and decorative tile. The interior is viewed through a large nonworking glass door and shop window with semicircular arched window overhead.

The interior side walls will be finished with faux tile panels. The tall mirrored units each have five glass shelves, 1-1/4" deep. To optimize display the units are angled. The top and bottom shelves are 2-1/2" tall

and the three middle shelves are 1-1/2" tall.

Green-gold crackle wallpaper with coordinating wainscoting and ceiling border, tapestry carpeting, and indirect lighting are provided.

This class requires a basic tool kit and a transformer. A supply list will be distributed prior to the workshop.

The "Caned Bed"
Teachers - Nicole Walton Marble and Judee Williamson
$350.00

Max # of students - 12

Join Nicole and Judee for a class that will challenge your skills and expand your horizons! Begin with Nicole by learning to cane, and then cane a 1" scale cherry headboard

she has made for you. Then assemble the headboard adding several types of decoration.

Then dress the bed with Judee! Learn faux-trapunto, make your own pillows, make box pleat skirting, and tailored corners for your quilt. And finish it off with a colorful "throw"

you will fringe and learn to drape realistically. Yes, there is hand-sewing, pre-work and homework. But it's worth it, as you learn techniques you can carry over to your other projects.

There is a short tool list for this class. A strong light is highly recommended.
